Head Coach: Andrew Bordelon

Andrew Bordelon joined the Westminster College staff as the men's soccer coach in the spring of 2013. 

Bordelon led the Blue Jays to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Tournament in his first year as head coach. The team tied for first place in the SLIAC regular season and won the SLIAC Tournament Championship, sending the Blue Jays to their first ever NCAA Tournament. He finished the season with a 13-9-1 record.

Bordelon comes to Westminster after forming his coaching career at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. He served as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Drury after serving as the Graduate Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach for two years.

Bordelon was a four year starter for the Drury soccer team from 2006-2010. He was the fourth all-time assist leader, and was named Daktronics First Team All-Midwest Region and Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention. He helped lead his team to the school’s first Conference Championship, to the Sweet Sixteen Appearance in 2010, and to the school’s best season in history with a 21-2 record.

Bordelon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science at Drury in 2010. He received his Master’s degree in secondary education from Drury in 2012.
