* The 2010 preliminary men's soccer roster will be posted during camp in late August.

* Westminster will be the host site for a Missouri Youth Soccer Association 'D' License Course on May 15, May 16, May 22 and May 23. The cost is $200 for the four-day course (click to register).

Clayes Named Men's Soccer Coach At Westminster (Mo.)

Fulton, Mo. - Martin Clayes has joined the Westminster College coaching staff as men's soccer coach and physical education instructor. He is the 11th coach in the 40-year intercollegiate history of Westminster men's soccer. Clayes replaces Eric Steege who leaves Westminster after one season to assume an assistant women's coaching position at NCAA Division I University of Toledo.

Clayes comes to Westminster from Truman State University, where he served as the women’s assistant soccer coach for the past two years. He previously served as the Truman State men’s assistant and then worked as a personal trainer is St. Louis. Clayes had an All-American career as a member of the Truman State men’s team, leading the team is assists in each of his four letter-winning seasons from 2002-05. He led Truman State to a pair of NCAA tournaments and completed a degree in exercise science at Truman State. Clayes played professionally with the St. Louis Lions of the USL in 2007 and 2008.
