Rev. Terry Minchow-Proffitt

Rev. Minchow-Proffitt, a native of Helena, Arkansas, has pastored congregations in Utah, Maryland, and, most recently, St. Louis, Missouri. He has also served as a campus minister at the University of Utah, Princeton University and the University of Mississippi. After 27 years of pastoral ministry, he now pursues a “free range” ministry from his home in Kirkwood, Missouri. He has a deep love for reading and writing poetry, serves as a church consultant, and provides pastoral counseling and spiritual direction.
Minchow-Proffitt received a B.A. in Philosophy from Arkansas State University, an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and has pursued post-graduate study at Princeton Seminary, Washington Theological Union and the University of Mississippi. A recent graduate of the program in Spiritual Direction at the Haden Institute, Rev. Minchow-Proffitt’s poems have appeared in Desert Call, Christian Century, and Oxford American.
