Explanation of Events 

All women interested in learning more about Greek Life and Westminster's sororities are invited to register for Panhellenic Recruitment at the  Enrollment Website. 

*A minimum GPA requirement is set by each Womens Fraternity that must be met before going through recruitment. Please keep in mind that you may not be invited back to a party for this reason. These requirements vary for each chapter.

Panhellenic Recruitment Events include:


OPEN HOUSE ROUND
On Monday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 28 women registered for Panhellenic Recruitment will attend the Open House Round. Open House events are casual and provide Potential New Members (PNMs) with a great opportunity to learn more about Greek Life at Westminster. Your visit will inform you of the many aspects of sorority life.
OPEN HOUSE ROUNDOn Monday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 28 women registered for Panhellenic Recruitment will attend the Open House Round. Open House events are casual and provide Potential New Members (PNMs) with a great opportunity to learn more about Greek Life at Westminster. Your visit will inform you of the many aspects of sorority life.

After meeting in the Quad, women will visit all three sororities in their respective lounges. Each of the events are informal and will last approximately thirty minutes. PNMs are expected to attend both nights of the Open House Round, unless excused by the Panhellenic Association. 

Examples of What to Wear:
-Summery dress
-A skirt and nice top

PHILANTHROPY ROUND
The Philanthropy Round of recruitment is on Sunday, September 1.  During these events PNMs
 will receive more specific information about each chapter including how members are involved within the community and their organization's philanthropy. Women will also participate in an activity relating to the sorority's philanthropy.  

These events are forty-five minutes long and by invitation only. Women are required to accept all Philanthropy Round invitations in order to remain active in the recruitment process. 

Examples of What to Wear:
Dress is slightly more formal than Open House events.
-Sundresses
-Black pants/slacks
-Skirts

PREFERENCE ROUND
Preference Round Events will take place on Monday, September 2.  These events give Potential New Members a final opportunity to visit chapters. This round is the most formal round of recruitment and includes a ceremony during which chapters showcase the values and standards lived by its members. This round also gives sorority members the opportunity to have longer conversations with the PNMs.

This event is also by invitation only. Women will be notified which chapters have invited them back by their Recruitment Counselors early Saturday morning. These events will last for fifty minutes.

Examples of What to Wear:
-Dresses
-Business-style skirts 

*Jeans or khaki skirts are not recommended on this day.
