Whether you have already chosen a major or are still exploring majors, there are resources and services that can help you. Help is also available if you are changing your major. Wherever you are on this journey, we are here to provide support.

Professional staff are available to meet individually to discuss any issues related to career development. Students often seek assistance in the following areas:

-selecting a major

-developing a career direction within a particular major

-deciding upon a graduate program or area of graduate study

Career assessments are available and are often used in combination with meeting with a career counselor. Costs of these assessments for students and alumni range from no charge to a minimal fee.

focus 2 FOCUS-2 (available through MyWC) is an online, self-guided, interactive program designed to help you select the right college major and plan your career based on your personal interests, values, skills, personality, and aspirations.

myers briggs Myers-Briggs Type Inventory helps individuals understand their preferences for relating to others, taking in information, making decisions, and adopting a kind of lifestyle.
