Upper Level Outside the Division

  • One upper level course that is housed in a division other than that of the student's major department.
  • The course must be at least three credit hours.
  • All courses numbered 300 or higher are upper level. Tier III courses may be taken as upper level outside the division, but then cannot also be counted as Tier III for that student.
  • Additionally, BIO 205, BIO 208, FRE 204, MAT 215, MAT 224 (if not used to satisfy the Tier I Math requirement), PHY 223 and SPA 204 are considered upper level courses for this requirement.
