The Internet Directory of Botany is an index to botanical information available on the Internet, compiled by Anthony R. Plants National Database--USDA
The PLANTS Database provides standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories. It includes names, plant symbols, checklists, distributional data, species abstracts, characteristics, images, plant links, references, crop information, and automated tools.

Scott's Botanical Links
Devoted to the study of plants. This site is his effort to compile useful botany education resources for the advanced high school (AP-biology) and college level students. Internet resources vary in quality, so he has rated sites on a 4-star scale emphasizing educational value, completeness and scientific correctness.
