Dspace at MIT
Contains MIT Research in digital form, including preprints, technical reports, working papers, theses, conference papers, images, etc. DSpace does not contain "all" MIT's research and is limited to digital research products. DSpace is growing rapidly.

Federal resources for educational excellence
Includes more than 1,500 federally supported teaching and learning resources from dozens of federal agencies.

Infomine
A virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level. It contains useful Internet resources such as databases, electronic journals, electronic books, bulletin boards, mailing lists, online library card catalogs, articles, directories of researchers, and many other types of information.

A digital library of Internet sites and sources in audio, text, and image digital forms.

Internet Public Library
A wide range of resources relevant to research and basic information. Many topics of interest covered.

InfoSurf: Information Resources by Subject provides a well-organized collection of links to specific topic sites on the Internet.

a premier subject guide, allows searching by keyword in one or all categories or by a series of menus.

WWW Virtual Library
An extensive list of alphabetical topics in various formats depending upon the topic of interest. It is also in a hierarchical format.

Free Books Online
Over 100 sites listed alphabetically and by genre.

Project Gutenberg
Over 27,000 books and 100,000 titles. Most of these e-books are not copyrighted, that is the copyright has expired.

Directory of Open Access Journals
This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals. There are over 3,000 journals in the directory. Over 1,000 journals are searchable at article level. Over 200,000 articles are included in the DOAJ service.
