Welcome to Westminster and Blue Jay "Transfer-mation"! Your first two days as a Westminster College student will be filled with opportunities and information specifically tailored to address your needs as an incoming transfer student, highlighted by the Blue Jay "Transfer-mation" mini-conference and a front-loaded Westminster Transfer Seminar (100A/102). We encourage you to participate fully in all of the sessions offered. If you do, we guarantee you'll be prepared and ready to start your first day of class feeling like you're a part of the Westminster community.

Start out your day with a light continental breakfast and camaraderie with fellow transfer students in Coulter Science Center. Commuter transfer students can pick up their orientation packet.

Join President Forsythe for a big “It’s a Great Day to be a Blue Jay!” welcome and an overview of the day.
 
Introduction to WSM 100A/102 Coulter Lecture Hall 10:00-10:30am
Dr. David Jones will explain your introductory course, Westminster Seminar 100A or 102, and how to make the most of this transitions course.

“Where on the Hill are My Classes?” 1:00pm-2:00pm
“Where on the Hill are my classes?” is a campus tour, but not your usual campus tour! Please bring your class schedule so your mentor can help you find the academic buildings and classrooms you’ll be heading to on your first day of class. You can also use this time to stop by the Wellness Center, Financial Aid, Registrar, or any other office you might need.

In Coulter Lecture Hall, we will have representatives from our academic divisions available to discuss major and minor options within our various academic departments, including the self-designed major. Feel free to stick around to ask questions or stop by their office for a follow-up chat.

Westminster College’s traditional all-college “kick-off” for the academic year, Convocation, includes welcomes from the college president and the student body president as well as the formal processional of the college faculty.
