Where are you from?
Park Ridge, IL

Where did you go to college and what did you major in?
I went to Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. I graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Religion.

Why do you work for Westminster?
Westminster has such a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are a student or staff member everyone is very supportive of one another.

Why did you choose to be an Enrollment Counselor?
I love talking with people and assisting them with finding a path to help pursue their dreams.

Outside of being a counselor, what other programs or office initiatives are you involved in?
My husband is the Women’s Volleyball Coach here at Westminster so I love being an active support in the Blue Jay’s athletic world.

What’s your favorite memory of being a counselor so far?
Guiding a student from their very first visit all the way through the end of the admissions process is extremely gratifying. Calling a student who has Westminster as their #1 choice and congratulating them on their acceptance, is always an unforgettable memory.

List a couple of your hobbies.
Spending time with friends and family is always a priority. I love to travel, anywhere and everywhere. I am a devoted Chicago sports fan, Blackhawks, Bears, and Bulls and yes I am a loyal Cubs fan as well. I love outdoor activities, especially if it’s near a body of water.

What’s one thing about your personality most people wouldn’t assume about you?
Initially I may seem more on the quiet side however I love to joke around behind the scenes. Laughter is the best medicine.

What’s your favorite piece of advice to share with students who are researching colleges?
Remember that college is about YOU and pursuing YOUR dreams.
