Academic Advantage

The Westminster Experience

If you are ready for a college experience that will transform the way you see the world and your impact on it, Westminster has designed a liberal arts education focused on helping you succeed.

We've carefully designed every element of the Westminster experience to provide a dynamic developmental experience for students.

How does Westminster offer an academic and professional advantage to students?

The Westminster experience provides an advantage to students through top instruction in the classroom and through personal and professional development that carries them into successful careers.

Westminster's Concept for Student Development is an integrated plan that lays the foundation for student transformation on our campus. This plan goes beyond academic instruction to involve five key aspects of personal growth: intellectual, ethical, professional, social, and wellness.

Through the Concept for Student Development, Westminster prepares students to make the most of their college experiences, inspires them to stretch and grow within a highly supportive environment, gives the guidance they need to understand their development, and most importantly encourages them to become lifelong learners and leaders of character who will make a difference in their world.

The College has put many pieces in place to get all students off to a great start, including specialized coursework, holistic advising, and career development from day one.

During New Student Orientation (approximately two days before all classes begin) students have the opportunity to meet classmates, to learn about the expectations, and traditions of the College, and to begin the transition to campus life.
