Mesa Student Profiles 

Meet some of the members of the Westminster College at Mesa Fall 2013 entering class.  As part of the inaugural class, these students are paving the way for a new kind of educational opportunity in Mesa.

Andrew Kuhn, New Westminster College at Mesa Student Andrew Kuhn

  • High School or Community College: Mesa Community College
  • Westminster major: Transnational Studies
  • Interests, hobbies: Model United Nations, international news, gardening, TedTalks, and learning.
  • Club affiliations or activities: Model United Nations of the Far West 64th session Chair for The Committee On Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
  • Future career goals: Diplomat within the United Nations
  • Why Westminster?  I chose Westminster to be a part of the setting the standard for excellence at a new institution and build a foundation for new opportunities in Mesa.
  • Fun fact: I am a former president of The Associated Students of Mesa Community College.

  • High School or Community College: Napa Valley College (Napa, CA)
  • Westminster Major: International Business
  • Interests/hobbies: Cycling, coffee drinking, traveling
  • Clubs/activities: Community Garden Club, Campus Green Party
  • Future career goals: I would love to have a career that allows me to travel and spend time with my husband. I love helping people!
  • Why Westminster?  I love the liberal arts approach to education. Westminster gives me an opportunity to learn and grow the way I do best!

  • Interests/hobbies: Cycling, writing, drawing, film
  • Clubs/activities: Phi Theta Kappa, Environmental Action Club
  • Future career goals: I would like to be a comic book writer.
  • Why Westminster?  After participating in the creative writing workshop with Deb Brenegan, I was convinced Westminster is a great fit for me.
  • Fun fact: I once travelled the southwest performing original poetry
