2008 Remley Center Award Recipient
As one of the early classes of women to attend Westminster, I always considered the ability to attend this wonderful college to be a blessing.
Anne (McIntosh) Schneider '85
2008 Remley Center Award Recipient Anne (McIntosh) Schneider '85 has remained active on the Westminster campus through ongoing service, leadership and support. Schneider has been an alumna advisor to the Epsilon Iota chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta since 1989, and served as Advisory Board Chair for five years.
Westminster has benefited from Schneider’s leadership and interest in many other ways as well. She was a member of the Alumni Council from 1999-2005 and served as the first female president of the organization from 2003-2005. During her time on the Council, she served as Chair of the Student Life and Greek Affairs Committee and directed the Strategic Planning efforts for the Alumni Association.
Especially interested in student life, Schneider has mentored students considering the legal profession, participated in alumni panels aimed at students considering legal careers, lectured as a guest professor on ethics in government and business, worked to facilitate internships for Westminster students at the Attorney General’s office, and helped host a prospective student event.
Currently, Schneider serves on the Westminster Board of Trustees where she continues to focus on student life as chairman of the Student Life Committee. Read more...
