Ashley is the daughter of Danny and Kathy Shimmel and has one sibling, Stacey (16).
Ashley plays soccer at Westminster as a midfielder.
Being a member of SAAC has allowed Ashley to play soccer and still be connected with the students and faculty.
After graduation, Ashley plans on going to medical school and becoming a doctor in an emergency room.
