Tracey Braden joined the Westminster College athletic staff as women's basketball coach in 2007. In addition to her coaching duties, Braden teaches physical education classes and assists with the coordination of intramurals. In 2008-09, Braden led the Blue Jays to a tie for second in the SLIAC league standings and was named co-coach of the year. In 2010-11, Braden led Westminster to a school-record 20 wins and the school's first-ever St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title, which earned her a second Coach of the Year award.
Braden coached high school basketball for eight years at California, Harrisonville and Winnetonka High Schools, winning Coach of the Year honors in the Tri-County Conference in 2000, 2001 and 2002. She has additional experience serving as an assistant coach in softball, volleyball and track.
After graduating from Versailles High School, Braden began her collegiate playing career as a member of the basketball and softball teams at Central Methodist College in 1984-85. She transferred to Central Missouri State University and was a member of three basketball teams that captured conference championships and qualified for three NCAA Division II national tournaments.
