Jacob is the son of Bob and Brenda Yarnell and has four siblings: Cora (17), Daniel (16), John (8) and Shelby (7).

Jacob is majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Political Science.

After graduation, Jacob plans to earn attend the State Troopers Academy in Missouri. He would like to work for the FBI, DEA or INS.

Athletics

Jacob was a state qualifier for wrestling in 2009 and was in the Elite 8. He was a regional and sectional champion in 2009. He was also named to All-Conference in baseball in 2010.
