Jeff Borengasser joined the Westminster College staff in 2003. In addition to serving as the head tennis coach, Borengasser is an instructor of physical education. In his first season in 2004 he guided the Westminster men's team to its fifth consecutive conference title, earning conference coach of the year honors. The Blue Jays won their sixth title in 2006. The 2007 team won again and Borengasser won his second coach of the year award. The 2008 Blue Jay men won their third consecutive SLIAC title and Borengasser won his third coach of the year award.
Borengasser graduated from Truman State University in 1999 with a degree in exercise science. He completed his graduate degree in exercise physiology in 2003 from Iowa State University. He played high school tennis at Columbia Hickman High School and was a member of their 1994 state champion team. He played collegiate tennis at Truman State, earning a regional ranking in singles and doubles, and earned academic all-conference honors in each of his four seasons of play.
Borengasser and his wife, Sarah, live in Columbia, Missouri, with their son Xavier James (12-14-07).
