Dr. Cliff Cain, the new C.S.Lewis Professor of Religious Studies Chair, will deliver the first of what will become an annual or biennial series, the C.S. Lewis Legacy Lectures.
The title of Dr. Cain's address is "Between Athens and Jerusalem: The Necessary Dilemma of Being a Thinking Christian," and it will involve the following:
-Some introductory remarks about C. S. Lewis
-A brief description of his legacy for our time and place
-A focus on an issue/topic that mattered to him and matters to a number of us--the relationship of reason and faith, mind and heart, or "Athens and Jerusalem."
