Developing healthy sleep habits in a college environment can be challenging. A student's schedule can often change from day to day and from week to week depending on the demands of work, social and academic schedules. Poor sleep habits can affect academic performance, increase depression, weaken the immune system and lead to dangerous driving conditions for the affected individual. Adequate, quality sleep is important to a college student's overall wellness and academic success.
