Job Summary:
The Annual Programs Assistant will assist the Director of Annual Programs by providing administrative support, participating in fundraising activities including gift processing, donor relations, College appeals, and special events.
 
Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• A minimum of three years' experience in an administrative position, preferably in a not-for-profit development office
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Job Description:
  • Opening and distributing incoming mail
  • Processing gifts (mail, net donors, stock gifts, etc.) and completing daily deposits
  • Generating existing donor acknowledgment letters and gift receipts from College database
  • Assisting with various Development Office mailings (solicitations, stewardship, etc.)
  • Assisting in donor relations activities/projects as assigned
