Release of Student Account Information

Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal act that requires colleges and universities to hold student information in strict confidence. Westminster College is not allowed to discuss the student's financial information with any person other than the student unless granted written permission. This includes information about all charges, payments, and balances and applies to all third parties including parents.

Students may give Westminster College written permission to discuss their student accounts by completing the FERPA Release form. Permission may be given to release information about the entire student record or it can be restricted to only Academic and Studet Life information OR Financial information. Click here to access the form, complete it, and submit it to either the Financial Aid Office or Business Office at the address listed on the form.
