Westminster College Information Technology Policies
In order to maintain the best possible computing environment and to abide by the policies set forth by MOREnet, our Internet Service Provider, Westminster College has developed a number of policies that govern the technical resources provided by the College.

These policies are constantly evolving to meet new situations.  If you are in doubt about something, please check here from time to time.
Acceptable Use Policy
The Westminster College Acceptable Use Policy outlines activities that are prohibited with regard to use of Westminster College computing resources.  Please note that this policy does not govern every possible situation.  Policies and procedures outlined in the employee and faculty handbooks also continue to apply.

MOREnet Acceptable Use Policy
Through our agreement with MOREnet, we are bound to abide by their policies.  Prohibited use of MOREnet resources is outlined in this policy.

Student Printing Policy
At the request of environmentally aware students and in an effort to reign in burgeoning costs, Westminster College has enacted a program that provides generous, but not unlimited, printing to all students.  Details regarding printing policies are outlined here.

E-mail Distribution List Policy
In order to get the word out, many people have turned to email as a primary method of communication.  Such ubiquitous use does have downsides, though.  In order to help mitigate against some of these downsides, Westminster College has developed a policy regarding the use of e-mail distribution lists.
