Josh Thompson joined the Westminster College athletic staff as head athletic trainer in August of 2005. In addition to his duties coordinating the athletic training needs of a 12-sports athletic program, Thompson is an instructor of physical education.

Thompson is a 2000 graduate of Westminster College, earning his undergraduate degrees in sports medicine/athletic training and education. In 2002 he completed his master's degree in education from the University of Cincinnati. Thompson has served as the head athletic training at Hendrix College for the past three years. He received his National Athletic Trainers' Association certification in 2002 and is certified to teach first aid/CPR by the American Red Cross.
