Deferred gifts or planned gifts are gifts that you create today even though the College will not enjoy the benefits until some time in the future.
You will see that these types of gifts may offer tax and income incentives not available through outright giving.
These gifts usually require significant planning which may involve coordination between your attorney or financial planner and a representative from Westminster College.
Individuals making deferred gifts are recognized for their commitment through membership in the Columns of Commitment Legacy Society.
Westminster College is one of the few small liberal arts colleges in the mid-west to employ a full time, certified planned giving director. The College recognizes the need to have qualified staff in the area of planned giving due the numerous planned giving instruments and the ever changing laws surrounding deferred gifts. To learn more about these deferred gift opportunities, please contact the Office of Gift Planning at 573.592.5370
