The Office of Marketing and Strategic Communications strives to enhance the image and reputation of Westminster College by effectively communicating Westminster's values, goals, achievements and needs. Through collaborations with members of the campus community, we implement integrated communication strategies to build awareness of and support for the College.
Additionally, the office advances a consistent and positive image for the College and accurately, professionally and positively communicates messages about the college to external and internal constituencies. We provide services to campus departments in the areas of media relations, marketing, print publications, photography and web content.
More specifically, we are responsible for:
- Building and promoting the Westminster College brand and communications program, focusing on unifying Westminster's message across publications, marketing collateral, graphic design, internal and external communications, and advertising
- Working with staff responsible for marketing individual programs within the College to further their goals and ensure that those efforts support the College's overall marketing goals and fit within the brand messaging developed by the College.
- Collaborating closely with admissions/enrollment management to strategically target and recruit students who fit the optimal enrollment profile of the College including demographic and geographic diversity, academic rankings, and ability.
- Working closely with the campus to ensure consistent branding and messaging in printed and online marketing communications
