Depletion and Denial:
Global Consequences of the End of the Oil Era
Paul Roberts discusses the state of global oil supplies, and how quickly they're being depleted. He'll look what the end of an oil-dominated economy means for countries, companies, and citizens, and examine the critical role that oil has played in American politics and foreign policy, and how that role will change. And he'll explore what a post-oil order might look like, both in the context of alternative technologies, but also in terms of the geopolitical realignment that the end of oil might provoke.
