Alexandre Melnik is an Associate Professor and Program Leader at the ICN Business School, Nancy, France. He is the Director of the Magistratura (double master in international management ICN - MGIMO, State Institute of International Relations of Moscow).

He was born in Moscow, has a Doctorate from MGIMO in Moscow and a Master's Degree in Journalism from the same university. He teaches Geopolitics, Intercultural Management, European Development, French Economy, Eastern Emerging Markets, Russia and the CIS. Alexandre is also a guest lecturer at the University of Caen (Russian Civilization), an International lecturer (European Council, UNESCO, National Assembly, Sciences Po, and Sorbonne) and is in charge of oral examinations for Russian language for the group Ecricome, the common bank of examinations for the French Business Schools.

He has experience as a press attaché for the Russian Embassy in Paris, in the UN disarmament negotiations in Geneva, and as Senior Executive of the Press Department of the Ministry of USSR International Relations. Alexandre worked with Mikhail Gorbachev as his official translator in Paris and his speech writer and consultant within a "think tank" of perestroika in Moscow, at the Ministry of URSS International Relations. He is also a consultant for a number of companies in France and abroad and author of numerous publications in France ("Le Monde", "Le Figaro", "Politique Etrangère", "Espaces", "Eco Russie") and abroad (Russia and Lithuania).
