Six received the Alumni Achievement Award, which is presented annually to alumni whose accomplishments reflect the Westminster mission and who have distinguished themselves through personal achievements, professional achievements and /or have made significant contributions to society.
Those honored with this award included:
Philip J. Boeckman of London, England, class of '88, Managing Partner for the London office of the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP;
Stephen E. Erdel, Columbia, MO, class of '73, President and CEO of Boone County National Bank;
William D. Felder of Dallas, TX, class of '80, retired Chair of Southwest Securities, Inc., the principal broker/dealer subsidiary of SWS Group, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange listed holding company;
Tim Harlan of Columbia, MO, class of '71, a law partner with the firm of Harlan, Harlan & Still;
John O'Brien of Louisville, KY, class of '62, a pulmonary physician who serves as a consultant for hospital medical staffs as well as having an active clinical practice; and
Christopher M. Ursitti, Coronado, CA, class of '83, Chief Operating Officer of The Hollywood Location Company and founder, co-owner and managing partner of Los Angeles Center Studios.
Two alumni received the Young Alumni Achievement Award, an annual award established in 2009 to recognize alumni who demonstrate the Westminster mission through outstanding achievement early in their chosen career and/or dedicated leadership and service to their community.

Currently, Coppenger is Director of New Business Development for Rare, Inc. and has over 12 years of program development and fundraising experience.
Swan is Director of Community Outreach & Leadership Development at Drury University, and has been a leader in the development and management of service-learning, community service and civic engagement programs in higher education.
Another award given was the 2012 Westminster Jack Marshall Alumni Loyalty Award, an award established in 2009 that was renamed in memory of Westminster's universally beloved employee for 40 years who passed away last November. This award is bestowed upon alumni who demonstrate a continued interest in Westminster College through contributions of time, talent, influence and/or fund, and who have demonstrated exceptional loyalty, commitment and dedication to the College.
This year's recipient was Elizabeth (Betsy) Schultz Humphreys of St. Louis, MO, class of '83.
Humphreys is the daughter of Dr. John Schultz, Professor Emeritus of Chemistry, who was part of the committee that ultimately made the decision to allow women to attend Westminster. Her husband Steve is an alumnus, her daughter Katherine graduated from Westminster in 2009 and her daughter Sarah is currently a junior at Westminster.
She was one of the first women to graduate from Westminster College and is currently serving her second non-consecutive term as President of the Westminster College Parents Association Board.
