Blue Jay Baseball Falls To 0-2 With a 4-1 Loss

Clarksville, Ark. – the Westminster College baseball squad fell to 0-2 on the season Saturday with a 4-1 loss to University of the Ozarks on the second day of play of the Ozarks Classic. The Blue Jays conclude tournament play Sunday against Simpson College of Iowa.
Senior Mike Young (St. Louis, Mo./St. Mary’s) recorded two of Westminster’s four hits and drove in the lone run in the fifth inning. Freshman Jake Rule (St. Louis, Mo./Vianney) took the loss, allowing four runs on seven hits and five walks over six innings. Freshman Tommy Bohnert (St. Louis, Mo./Oakville) pitched two innings of shutout relief.
