Fayette, Mo. - For the second time since St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play began, the Westminster College women’s soccer squad ventured out of conference play to play a non-conference opponent, and for the second time the Blue Jays were shut out, falling 5-0 Wednesday at Central Methodist University.

The Blue Jays (0-11-0) were outshot 31-3 by undefeated Central Methodist (13-0-1) in the match which was delayed 25 minutes by lightning and eventually stopped in the 80th minute because of the threatening weather conditions. Senior Katie Denning (Jefferson City, Mo./Jefferson City) recorded three shots for a Westminster team that seeks its first victory against SLIAC opponent Spalding University at home Saturday.
