National Churchill Museum Day Camp for Kids

National Churchill Museum announces it's first Day Camp for Kids on July 11-12, 2012. Children of ages 5-9 are encouraged to attend this camp scheduled for Wednesday, July 11 through Thursday, July 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Participants will learn about Our Lives, Our Stories: America’s Greatest Generation, the Museum’s current traveling exhibition from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Campers will also discover what it was like growing up the 1930s-1960s. Hands-on activities surrounding Our Lives, Our Stories will take place, including creating artwork to hang in the exhibition itself.   

Reservations are required. Interested parents should reserve a place for their children no later than Monday, July 9. Cost of attendance is $25.00. Lunch and afternoon snacks will be provided.

Children should wear comfortable clothes and bring a light jacket or sweater.
