Westminster Earns ESPN All-American Honors

Jeff ChackoWestminster senior Jeff Chacko has been named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America Men’s Soccer Third Team, as announced Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).  

He is the eighth student-athlete in Westminster's history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.
  
A senior midfielder from Little Rock, Arkansas (Catholic High School), Chacko is a four-year starter on the Westminster men's soccer squad. He is a Biochemistry and Classics major, a Dean's List student and a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society.  
   
During the 2010 season Chacko was a team captain and led the Blue Jays with six assists. He tied for the team-lead with two game-winning goals on a team which finished 12-6-1 and tied the school record for wins in a season.  Chacko earned his second all-conference certificate this season and his third consecutive academic all-conference award.
