Warrensburg, Mo. - The Westminster College women placed sixth and the men finished eighth at the University of Central Missouri Mule Runs Friday. Host Central Missouri won both events.

Sophomore Sarah Koestner (Lohman, Mo./Russellville) placed eighth individually in the 4K women’s race in 15:54, and junior Kaily Downey came in 23rd with a time of 16:45. Sophomore Matt Borst (Flower Mound, Tex./Marcus) was the top Westminster male, finishing 36th in the men’s 6,400-meter event in 23:14.3. Freshman Daniel Lindeman (Columbia, Mo./Hickman) placed 41st in 23:31.23.
