St. Louis, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the Athletes of the Week for the week of October 8-14.

MEN'S SOCCER - OFFENSIVE
Westminster College's Jacob Appelbaum, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo. (Univ. of New Haven), has been named the Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October 8-14.

Appelbaum, a midfielder, scored the game-winning goal to lift the Blue Jays to a 1-0 overtime victory versus Webster University last week. The win improved Westminster's conference record to 3-1, and they currently sit in a tie for third place along with the Gorloks.
