Westminster's Jett Named To All-District Second Team

Fulton, Mo. - Westminster College first baseman Andrew Jett, a senior from Owensville, Missouri (Owensville High School), has been named to the Rawlings/ABCA All-Central Region Second Team. He is the first Blue Jay baseball player to receive all-district honors since 2001.

Jett, who is completing his degree in secondary education, was named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference first team this season. He led the team in hitting (.382), runs scored (36), hits (42), doubles (13), home runs (6), RBI (36), slugging percentage (.682), walks (36) and put outs (310). Jett was ranked in the top twenty nationally in three categories according the NCAA Division III statistics released May 15: fourth in base on balls a game (.95), sixth in total base on balls (36) and 13th in on-base percentage (.539).
