Men’s Soccer Shuts Down Beavers before Heading to Semi-Finals

The Men’s Soccer Team finished the regular season play with their eighth shutout game against Blackburn College, 7-0.

The Blue Jays dominated the field, taking 14 shots on goal in the first half and 13 in the second half. 

Six Blue Jays scored during the game, along with three more players with assists.  The goals were scored by Michael McDonough assisted by Adam Ross, Tyler Cook (2 goals), Adam Ross assisted by McDonough and Zach Moore, Jacob Appelbaum assisted by McDonough and Chad Miller, Sasha Mohamadi, and Zach Moore assisted by Muhle Dlamini. 

The Blue Jays wait on Greenville’s game on Monday to determine Westminster’s final seed in the SLIAC standings.  Currently, the Blue Jays are in second place.  The SLIAC Conference Semi-Finals start November 1st.
