Arizona State Phi Theta Kappa Chapters Invited to Westminster College Spring Bash
All members of Phi Theta Kappa Chapters in the state of Arizona are invited to attend a regional Spring Bash hosted by Westminster College at Mesa from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Friday, April 12, at the OneOhOne Gallery, 101 West Main, in Mesa.

Keynote speaker for the evening will be Dr. Bob Hansen, Executive Director of the Emerson Center for Leadership and Service at Westminster College. Dr. Hansen has been at Westminster College for 26 years after thirteen years of teaching and counseling at the University of Missouri.
He has worked extensively in Rwanda and Tanzania in a global initiative that has established three health centers in remote areas, brings communities, schools, churches, and other organizations together in “empowerment partnerships” and helps villages enhance their childhood education programs. Each year he gathers a team of students to join him in his East African work on behalf of Westminster College and Humanity for Children.
Dr. Hansen has also co-led international service trips to Eastern Europe and domestic service trips to Appalachia, Katrina-affected areas, and Native American reservations. He has strong commitment to creating deep-learning immersion experiences for Westminster students in challenged American areas and developing regions of the world.
