Prophet Named SLIAC Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has announced the Athletes of the Week for the week of January 28-February 3.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Westminster College's Joe Prophet, a senior from St. Louis, Mo. (Cardinal Ritter), has been named the Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of January 28-February 3.

Prophet, a guard, averaged 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in two SLIAC victories last week. He also dished out a total of seven assists and shot 17-of-37 (.459) from the field and 4-of-9 (.444) from behind the arc. Prophet scored 20 points and had seven rebounds and two assists in a 67-60 win over Webster University. He then recorded a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds as the Blue Jays defeated Eureka College 67-63. Prophet also tallied five assists, two steals and finished 3-of-7 (.429) from three-point range.
