Public Tickets Now On Sale for National Recording Artist at Westminster College
Members of the general public may now purchase tickets for the upcoming music concert by national recording artist KARMIN, which will be held 7 p.m., Monday, April 15, at Champ Auditorium on the Westminster College campus.
KARMIN is the pop duo Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, who received national attention when their cover song “Look At Me Now” by Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes garnered over 80 million views on YouTube.
Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at either the Emerson Center for Leadership & Service or the Office of Student Engagement in the Hunter Activity Center on campus from 8 a.m.-5p.m., Monday-Friday or on-line at http://www.westminster-mo.edu/news/news/Pages/NationalRecordingArtistKarmin.aspx. Karmin released their first studio album “Hello,” on May 4, 2012, and their first single, “Brokenhearted,” reached #16 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and the top ten in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Rolling Stone magazine declared Karmin #1 on their list of “Women Who Rock.”
They have recently appeared on “Good Morning America,” “Late Night with Jay Leno,” “The Ellen Show,” and “Saturday Night Live.”
Rudy Currence, a soulful R&B singer from South Carolina, will open the show at 7 p.m. and Karmin will take the stage at 8 p.m.
