2011 Graduate Gives Back in St. Louis

Sterling Brown, an alumnus who just graduated this year, is already making headlines in St. Louis.  Ten years ago, Sterling attended Loyola Academy, a middle school that gives impoverished youth in the St. Louis area a fighting chance at an education.  Now, Sterling has returned to this special middle school as a teacher, giving back to the school that once helped him escape poverty and gave him the opportunities that led him to a Westminster degree.
