350 Participate in MLK Day of Service
Over 350 community members, students, faculty, and staff participated in "The MLK Day of Service" hosted by Westminster College in partnership with Central and Northeast Missouri Foodbank this past Monday.
The Westminster community was able to assemble over 1,700 buddy packs in just thirty-six minutes. These Buddy Packs will be distributed to the children of Callaway County and will provide two months worth of food for the weekends.
The Buddy Pack program provides food for children who would normally have to go without nourished meals on the weekend.
