Suspect Arrested in Memorial Vandalism  6/10/2009

A representative of the Fulton Police Department and Westminster College officials held a joint press conference on June 10 in the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, following the arrest of a suspect in the case of the recent vandalism at The Churchill Memorial.

Fulton Police Lt. Andre Cook, Chief of Detectives, joined Westminster President Dr. George B. Forsythe and Dr. Rob Havers, Executive Director of the Churchill Memorial, to discuss the apprehension of the suspect and the ongoing investigation.

Dr. Forsythe and Dr. Havers also discussed the actions being taken to restore the Memorial treasures to their original condition.
