Track & Field Teams Record 14 Modern-Day Bests

Canton, Mo. – The Westminster College track and field teams bettered or established 14 modern-day bests at Saturday’s Culver-Stockton Wildcat Open.
The Blue Jay women established nine modern-day bests, highlighted by sophomore Sarah Ogar, who bettered her own mark in the 400-meter dash with a second-place time of 1:02.74. The Westminster men established five modern-day bests, with freshman Jared Patterson lowering his own mark with a first-place finish in the 800-meter run in 2:04.56. Freshman EJ Berry lowered the previous record with a second-place time of 51.92 in the 400-meter dash.
