Volleyball Returns from Tournament Disappointed

Westminster vs. Central Iowa: 25-23, 25-10, 23-25, 21-25, 15-17
Westminster fought hard to win against Central Iowa, taking them into the fifth game.  The Blue Jays hit a .315 as a team, and had 168 attempts with only nine errors.  Jordan Berry (Kirkwood, Mo./Kirkwood) led the team with 13 kills, and Alex Berry (Kirkwood, Mo./Kirkwood) added in another 11 kills.  Haley Roberts (Farmington, Mo./Farmington) had 51 assists, and A. Berry contributed 21 digs.

Westminster vs. Monmouth: 16-25, 14-25, 21-25
Westminster could not find their rhythm in the games, leaving them 0-3.  The Blue Jays ended the match with 26 kills and 38 digs.

Westminster vs. Knox: 25-12, 27-25, 25-8
Westminster started Saturday morning defeating Knox in three games.  The Blue Jays hit a .257 as a team, and had 101 attempts with ten errors.  Lexi Collier (Weston, Mo./West Platte) led the team with 11 kills and three blocks.  A. Berry added in another 8 kills and Roberts had 29 assists.

Westminster vs. Washington University: 14-25, 19-25, 19-25
With 91 attempts, the Blue Jays made only five errors.  J. Berry led the team with eight kills, while Roberts gave 16 assists.

The Blue Jays return home Tuesday, October 9th to play MacMurray College for the second time this week.
