Westminster College has been notified that the nationally recognized private liberal arts college has been named as “One of the 372 Most Interesting Schools in America.”
The honored schools appear in Newsweek-Kaplan’s 2008 How To Get Into College Guide.
Researchers at Newsweek magazine and Kaplan’s, the foremost educational services company in the world, compile the list.
This year’s Most Interesting Schools were selected on the criteria of academic strengths, student body profile and specialty programs.
“We are honored to appear on this prestigious list,” says Westminster President Dr. Barney Forsythe. “We pride ourselves on providing a wealth of unique educational opportunities and individual attention here at Westminster where our global community prepares students to lead when they enter the real world.”
The Princeton Review also named Westminster as the only Missouri private institution to make the Top Ten list of America’s Best Value Colleges and recognized the school as one of the Best Midwestern Colleges. U.S.News & World Report has named it one of the top 160 National Liberal Arts Colleges in the United States.
