Westminster SAAC Participating In MLK Day Of Service

“Make it a day ON, not a day OFF”
Fulton, Mo. - Members of the Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will partner with The Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri, and a number of other campus organizations to fill Buddy Packs on Martin Luther King Day of Service this Monday, January 16.
The activity, which will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Monday in the Mueller Student Center on the Westminster campus, is one of many events held throughout Missouri. The volunteers, community members and Callaway County school children will pack 1,000 Buddy Packs with easy to prepare food.
Other Westminster groups participating are the members of the Campus Activities Board (CAB), Emerson Center for Leadership & Service, Beta Theta Pi, Kappa Alpha Order, Westminster Poverty Initiative, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, International Club, Phi Delta Theta, EcoHouse, Sigma Alpha Epsilon CIVICUS and SAAC. The CAB will provide refreshments for all sponsors and participants.
