Westminster Women Top Stephens 6-3 On Road

Columbia, Mo. - Westminster College used a couple of forfeits to top Stephens College 6-3 Wednesday in women's fall tennis action.

The Blue Jays (1-2) got forfeit wins at #3 doubles and #6 singles. After winning at #5 singles, and splitting the remaining two doubles matches, Westminster picked up the deciding points with a retirement win from sophomore Sarah Heeter (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) at #1 singles, and a straight-set victory by junior Courtney Darkow (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) at #4 singles.
