-Students are encouraged to present at conferences, both on campus and off campus, thus improving their
communication skills. Several courses also require presentations, on both individual and group levels.
-Students are encouraged to develop their
leadership skills by being involved in various activities on campus.

variety of majors, including several self-designed majors that students create with their faculty advisor.
