Counseling & Health
Counseling and Health Services (CHS) provides services and activities to the Westminster College community which promote the development of healthy lifestyles and the acquisition of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
CHS is staffed by mental health professionals who provide individual counseling for personal, social, family, academic, and health concerns. Through this, CHS strives to influence the positive development of students' social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, physical, and vocational lives.
CHS is also staffed by a Nurse Practitioner who provides medical care for students. A Nurse Practitioner (N.P.) is a registered nurse (R.N.) who has completed a graduate degree and training in the diagnosis and management of common medical conditions, including both acute and chronic illnesses. The core philosophy of an N.P. is individualized care, making prevention, wellness, and patient education priorities.
Please follow the links shown on the left to learn more about some of the specific programs offered. CHS is open Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m.
For more information call (573)592-5361.
