Kappa Alpha Theta

Epsilon Iota Chapter

Kappa Alpha Theta is the first women's Greek-letter fraternity.  It was established on January 27, 1870 at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.  It was founded by Betty Locke Hamilton, Alice Allen Brant, Betty Tipton Lindsey, and Hannah Fitch Shaw.

Theta's mission statement states that "Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual and moral growth as she meets the higher and broader demands of mature life."

The Epsilon Iota chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Westminster College was established in 1982.  Westminster Thetas are active in all areas of college life, from scholarship to service to leadership and even to sports and social.
